Brazil

Brazil is the 5th largest country in the world. It is located in Eastern South America, bordering the Atlantic Ocean. It has a total area of 8,511,965 sq km. Its capital is Brasilia. Major cities includes Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte and Porto Alegre. The population is about 170 million.

Angola

Angola is situated in South Africa, bordering the Atlantic Ocean. It has a total area of 1.246.700 sq km. The capital is Luanda. The population is about 10.3 million.

Cape Verde

Cape Verde, officially known as the Republic of Cape Verde, is an island archipelago lying 600 km west of Dakar, the westernmost point of continental Africa. It occupies roughly 63,000 sq km of ocean area and just over 4000 sq km of land area and consists of ten islands and five islets. The capital is Praia on the island of Santiago. The population in 1994 was estimated to be 423,120.

East Timor

East Timor became independent on 20 May 2002, after 400 years of Portuguese colonial rule and 25 years of occupation by Indonesia. Its total area is around 153,870 sq km, with a population of about 750,000. Portuguese and Tetum are the official languages. Dili is the capital of East Timor. Other cities include Baucau, Oecussi and Manatuto.
